New Work

The ever shifting moods of the Scottish climate presents an intense experience and painterly challenge as slate grey skies become saturated and clear to the perfect blue and every hue in between. Clare uses lively brushstrokes and rich colour in an attempt to capture something of this essence. Flowers and grasses commonly work their way into the foreground.

I am currently working towards my next solo show at the Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh. 11 October – 1 November 2025.  New work will go onto this website in the run up to the show.  Please contact me if you’d like to join the mailing list. The exhibition is open exclusively online to subscribers to view and buy from Monday 6th October.  Public access in the gallery and online from Saturday 11th October.
